On a day like today (Xmas-day) we should remember there is always a tradeoff between technology and 'being there'. It isn't a choice between the one ór the other, but it is a and-and kind of thing.
It could easily happen to healthcare and medicine as I sense a lot of ‘looking-the-other-way’ – failing to notice the unprecedented and perhaps unimaginable changes that are in fact happening.
